ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Yolanda L. Barrera 83, passed away on June 24, 2024, at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo Tx.

Mrs. Barrera is preceded in death by her husband Roberto V. Barrera; son, Marvin Dale Barrera; granddaughter, Tiffany A. Barrera; parents, Felix and Inez Luera; brother, Erico Luera.

Mrs. Barrera is survived by her son, Sigifredo Barrera; daughter, Ana Maria (Alberto) Solis; grandchildren, Fayth Ashley Barrera and Inez Solis; great grandchild, Jaxson R. Morales; brothers, Israel (Azucena) Luera and Florentino (Eglantina) Luera; sisters, Araceli (Jose Trinidad) Perez, Hermelinda (Manuel) Gonzalez and Eliamar (Heberto) Chapa; sister in law Adelita G. Luera  and by numerous, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Friday June 28, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a. m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services  followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
