ZAPATA, TEXAS—William R. Rich (94) also known as Bill, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Rich is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred L. Rich; sons, Kenneth Rich, Randall Rich; grandson, Richard Vela.

Mr. Rich is survived by his daughters; Janice Rich (Mario Alvarez), Denise (Mathew) McNew; grandchildren, Regina (Lynell) Martinez, Austin Rich, Kenneth "Cody" Rich, Michelle Hershberger, Jennie (Dustin) Williams, Katie Vela, Stephanie Essary, Kristopher (Johiada) Essary; brother, Marvin Rich and by numerous great grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, we will open at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m., at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery in Zapata Texas.
