ZAPATA, TEXAS---William David Lane, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 in McAllen, Texas.

Mr. Lane is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Jean Lane.

Mr. Lane is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maria Estela Lane; sons, Jon D. (Liza) Lane, William Rocky Lane; daughters, Jeannie Marie (Marcos) Reyes, Kodie Ann (Steven) Castillo; grandchildren, Ashley (Austin) Carroll, Kaitlin Lane, Marcos David Reyes, Alessandra Arely Reyes, Steven Miles Castillo, Christopher Koen Castillo, Alexander Gage Castillo; step grandchildren, Romeo Morales and Cesar Navarro Jr.; and by numerous family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Monday, May 23, 2022 we will open at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10 a. m.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
