ZAPATA, TEXAS---Viviano Chapa 88, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Zapata, Texas.
Mr. Chapa is survived by his wife, Soledad R. Chapa; sons, Rene (Blanca) Gonzalez, Joel (Silvia) Chapa, Rafael Chapa, Omar (Martha) Chapa, Gerardo Chapa (Evelyn Delgado); daughters, Maribel Gonzalez, Rosa Nilda Chapa (Vicente), Saray Chapa (Adrian) and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Visitation hours were held on Friday, July 28, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
A chapel service was held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
