ZAPATA, TEXAS---Viri Montalvo 39, passed away on May, 28, 2024 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Viri is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Mario Rodriguez; father, Javier Montalvo and brother, Juventino Montalvo.

Viri is survived by her son, Javier Guajardo; daughters, Alexa Rodriguez (Danara Rizo), Alaissa Rodriguez, Aliza Rodriguez, Briana Guajardo, Annalya Guajardo; mother, Ma. Del Socorro Guzman; brother, Luis Gerardo Montalvo, and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home, Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
