ZAPATA, TEXAS---Viola F. Ramirez 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her husband, Mauro M. Ramirez; sons, Mauro M. Ramirez Jr., Martin Ramirez; parents, Leonardo and Ofelia Flores; sisters, Aminta F. (Ruben) Gutierrez and Lina F. Garcia.

Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her daughters; Iliana R. Morales, Jo-Ann R. (Norberto) Gonzalez, grandchildren; Diana Ramirez, Mario D. Ramirez, Justin A. Ramirez, Sarah Ramirez, Jacob Ramirez, Efrain Morales Jr., Claudia M. Sendejo, Fernando Morales, Adriana Gonzalez, Marcos J. Gonzalez, Ayssa L. Gonzalez, great-grandchildren; Raelyn Torres, Maelia Ramirez, Ethan Morales, Julissa Morales, Jorge Morales, Delyssa Salinas, Marlyssa Salinas, Alejandro Salinas, Delilah Sendejo, Eloy Sendejo Jr., Adalina Gonzalez, brothers; Dr. Hildagardo (Olga) Flores, Leonardo (Maria) Flores, daughter-in-law; Elma Estela Ramirez, brother in-law; Hector L. Garcia and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
