ZAPATA, TEXAS---Vidal Hernandez, Jr. 66, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his father, Vidal Hernandez.

Mr. Hernandez is survived by his mother, Olivia Hernandez; sister, Carmen Garcia (Terry) Peña; nieces and nephew, Daisy (Danny) Alaniz from Laredo, Texas, Brianna Maldonado (Luis) Tovar, Joanna (Daniel) Arambula, Yvette Becerra (Christy) Hernandez, Tannia Samora and Anthony Samora from Corpus Christi, Texas and by numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and other family members and friends.

We would like to inform the community that due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), County and State mandates we will be having a private graveside service at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
