• ZAPATA, TEXAS---Victor Sermino, Jr. 67, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at      his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Sermino is preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Juanita Sermino; brothers, Lazaro Sermino, Joe (Hilda) Sermino and a sister, Ester Sermino; brother-in-law, Juan Perez.

Mr. Sermino is survived by his wife of 40 years Alma G. Sermino; sons, Victor  G. (Tiffany) Sermino, Aaron V. (Evelyn) Sermino; daughter, Gina S. (Mark) Gonzales; grandchildren, Aribella Sermino, Richard Sermino, Ava Renee Sermino, Nathan Sermino, Marky Gonzales, Alexander Sermino; brother, Eddie Sermino; sisters, Perta (Obed) Cortez, Vicky (Patricio) Vela, Terry (Ben) Mayorga, Gloria (Joe) Priniski, Rosie (Ignacio) Gutierrez; sister-in-law, Becky Sermino; father-in-law, Jose B. Gutierrez and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
