ZAPATA, TEXAS---Vicenta R. Mendoza 78, passed away on May 2, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Mendoza is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique S. Mendoza; mother, Francisca R. Moreno and brothers, Porfirio Fernandez and Pedro Fernandez.

Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her son, Enrique Jr. (Raquel) Mendoza; daughter, Maricela Mendoza; grandchildren, Cynthia, Cristina, Clarissa, Celinda Mendoza, Enrique Mendoza, III; great-grandchildren, Diego Perez, Daniel Perez, Juan Perez, III, Marcos Mendoza, Eryck Castillo, Andrea Almanza and by numerous and other family members and friends.

We would like to inform the community that due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), County and State mandates we will be having a private viewing for immediate family members only.

A private graveside service will be held at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
