ZAPATA, TEXAS—Sixto "Chito" Hinojosa 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence in Zapata Texas.

Mr. Hinojosa, is preceded in death by his parents, Amando and Teodora Hinojosa and brother, Fermin Hinojosa.

Mr. Hinojosa is survived by his son, Sixto Jr. "Chito" (Sandra) Hinojosa; daughters, Yesenia (Luis) Camacho, Diana (Jonas) Amezquita, Flor Hinojosa (Cesar); and by numerous grandchildren; brothers, Tomas Hinojosa, Procopio Hinojosa; sisters, Enedelia Trevino, Yolanda Rivera and by numerous nephews, nieces family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
