ZAPATA, TEXAS---Sergio Sanchez 57, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Elida G. Sanchez; sons, Sergio Alfredo Sanchez-Hernandez, Luis Sanchez-Hernandez, Miguel Sanchez-Hernandez, Hugo Sanchez-Cruz, Jesus Isidro Sanchez-Cruz, Sergio Sanchez-Cruz, Salvador Sanchez-Cruz, Linda Melissa Sanchez-Cruz; sons, Hector E. Garcia, Juan Jose Garcia, Edmundo Garcia, Ricardo A. Gaxiola; daughters, Patricia Garcia, Yianira L. Martinez and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
