ZAPATA, TEXAS- Sergio Gonzalez 83, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at his residence in Zapata Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez, is preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza Gonzalez; parents, Manuel and Francisca B. Gonzalez; brothers, Manuel Gonzalez, Juan Francisco Gonzalez, Eloy Gonzalez, Jose Luis Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his son, Sergio (Juany) Gonzalez; daughters, Rosa H. (Leonel) Presas, Olga (Javier Gonzalez), (†Mario A. Leduc), Veronica Gonzalez (Carlos Garcilazo); grandchildren, Daniella Gonzalez, Brianda Gonzalez, Gerzon Gonzalez, Saul Fuentes, Erika Presas, Leonel Presas, Abraham Presas, Alexis Presas, Mario A. Leduc, Renato A. Leduc, Hector A. Leduc, Alina Tenorio; brothers, Mario Gonzalez, Armando Gonzalez; sisters, Maria G. Martinez, San Juana G. Cantu, Hilda G. Cervantez, Gloria G. Estrada, Francisca Gonzalez, Leticia Gonzalez, Dora Alicia Gonzalez and by numerous nephews, nieces other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
