ZAPATA, TEXAS---Sergio S. Elizondo 53, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Elizondo is preceded in death by his brother, Victor M. Elizondo and father-in-law, Carlos G. Meza.

Mr. Elizondo is survived by his wife, Commissioner, Olga M. Elizondo; sons, Ivan Elizondo, Eric Elizondo; daughter, Priscilla Elizondo (Ernesto Garza); parents, Ivan Sergio and Olivia B. Elizondo; brother, Luis A. Elizondo; sisters, Melba (Dr. Carlos) Garcia, Dinora (Rafael) Villarreal; in-laws, Olga (Humberto) Perez; brothers-in-law, Carlos J. (Melissa) Meza, Dr. Jose Ned (Jessica) Meza, Humberto Perez, Jr.; sister-in-law, Marisela (Manuel) Gutierrez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
