ZAPATA, TEXAS---Santos "El Tildio" Rodriguez, 85 passed away on September 2, 2022 at Retama Manor West Nursing Home in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his wife Alicia G. Rodriguez

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his sons, Jose (Maria C.) Rodriguez, Rogelio (Daniela) Rodriguez, daughters; Teodora A. (Joel) Garcia, grandchildren; Maria C. Rodriguez, Jose Jr. (Yesenia) Rodriguez, Sandra Rodriguez (Alex Gamboa), Ana Rodriguez (Andres Cabllero), Gina A. Rodriguez, Jose R. Rodriguez, Maura C. Suarez, Perla A. Navarro, Ovidio Navarro Jr., Brandon Garcia, Jesus Riojas, Rogelio Rodriguez Jr., Darien Rodriguez, great grand-children; Mason Aleman, Andres Rodriguez, Andrea Rodriguez, Vincent Castro III, Sean Castro, Caden Castro, Nathalie Castro, Alejandro Gamboa III, D'Andre Caballero, Aiden Caballero, Bryan Llano, Ovidio Navarro III, Aubrey Navarro and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
