ZAPATA, TEXAS---Santiago "Chago" Martinez 88, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents, Agustin and Juanita Martinez; brothers, Antonio Martinez, Felipe Martinez and a sister, Amalia Martinez Dixon.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his partner, Teresa Reyes; sons, Santiago (Belinda V.) Martinez, Alejandro (Josefa) Martinez, Leonel A. (Maribel) Martinez; daughter, Alma (Sam) Silva; six grandchildren; sister, Maria Jaramillo and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 9 a.m. with a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
