ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ruben "El Moro" Sanchez 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Solara Hospital in McAllen, Texas.

Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Evangelina Sanchez and brothers, Ramiro, Pedro, Javier, Gustavo and Jaime Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Maria D. Sanchez; daughter, Maria C. Sanchez; sister, Maria Placida (Cesar) Garcia and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. with a vigil at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
