ZAPATA, TEXAS---Rosario Martinez 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Ms. Martinez  is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Fernando and Guadalupe Genoveva Martinez; brother, Juan Fernando Martinez Jr.; sister, Mercedes M. Villarreal; nephews, Noe Barrera, Miguel Andres Martinez, Abel Angel Villarreal .

Ms. Martinez is survived by her brother, Arturo (Rosalinda) Martinez; sister, Beatriz M. (Gildo) Gutierrez and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a rosary at 9 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service followed at 10:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
