SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Rosario C. Garza 89, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Falcon Lake Nursing Home in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband, Mario H. Garza; daughter, Maricela G. Botello; son, Jose R. "Tito" Garza and parents, Manuel and Andrea Copado.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her children, Ruth G. Chapa, †Jose R. "Tito" (Carmen S.) Garza, Diana G. (Juan) Villarreal, Hector M. (Rosario) Garza, †Maricela G. (Eduardo "Wayo") Botello, Adrian Garza, Patricia N. Garza, Juanita (Joel) Medina, Mario H. "Beto" Garza, Jr., Nydia A. "Abby" (Jose Luis) Facundo, Luis C. (Eva) Garza; thirty-two grandchildren; seventy-two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Guadalupe C. Garza and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at Panteon Del Pueblo in San Ygnacio, Texas.
