ZAPATA, TEXAS---Rosalba Gomez de Banda 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Banda is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Banda and brothers, Horacio Gomez, Reginaldo Gomez and Jose Luis Gomez.

Mrs. Banda is survived by her sons, Daniel Armando (Claudia Lopez) Hernandez, Juan Manuel Hernandez (Sahira Viramontes), Roberto Piedra; daughter, Azucena Maribel Hernandez; grandchildren, Luis Angel Lopez, Ian Hernandez, Mia Hernandez, Liam Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, Zuleyka Hernandez, Alexander Hernandez, Keyla Hernandez; brothers, Isaias Gomez, Miguel Gomez; sisters, Graciela Mata, Raquel Gomez, Claudia Gomez, Olga Gomez, Ana Gomez, Dulce Gomez, Carmela Garza, Claudia Guzman, Dora Gomez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
