CHIHUAHUA, TEXAS- Romeo Morales 89, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence in Chihuahua, Texas.

Mr. Morales is preceded in death by his parents, Albino and Maria Morales; brothers, Octavio (Angelina) Morales, David (Aminta) Morales, Edelmiro Morales; sister, Idalia (Guillermo) Garcia.

Mr. Morales is survived by his wife of 64 years Altagracia G. Morales; sons, Romeo Morales Jr. Ricardo A. (Rosa E.) Morales; daughters, Monica M. Cuellar, Grace I. Morales; grandchildren, Romeo Morales III, Ricardo A. Jr. (Linda) Morales, Ray (Navil) Morales, Crystal L. (Doroteo) Lopez, Monique A. (Carlos) Pacheco, Melinda A. Cuellar, Jorge Cuellar Jr.; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Arlina R. Morales and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, we will open at 8:00 a.m., the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Zapata, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery, including full Military Honors by the Zapata County Color Guard.
