ZAPATA, TEXAS---Romeo Gutierrez Hernandez 55, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his oldest daughters home in Sugar Land, Texas.

Mr. Gutierrez is preceded in death by his father, Benigno Gutierrez.

Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Lupita Salinas, Oldest son Rafael (Alicia) Salas, oldest daughter Edith (Shahzad) Khan, Romeo Gutierrez, Jr., Lissette Gutierrez and Ruben Gutierrez and grandchildren: Rafael Salas, Jr., Adrian Salas, Cynthia Salas, Dominic Salas and Aaron Khan; mother, Irene Gutierrez; brothers, Jose Luis (Maria de la Luz) Gutierrez, Pedro (Francisca) Gutierrez, Rene (Benita) Gutierrez, Juan Carlos (Maria Guadalupe) Gutierrez; sisters, Amanda (†Domingo) Gonzalez, Alicia (†Jose Antonio) Balderas, Irene (Jesus) Hernandez, Alma (Victor) Garcia, Araceli (†Juan) Molina and by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 8 a.m. with a chapel service at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
