ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ramona Valadez de Riojas 99, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Riojas is preceded in death by her husband, Elviro Riojas; sons, Mario Riojas, Guadalupe Riojas and Elviro Riojas, Jr.

Ms. Riojas is survived by her sons, Isael Riojas, Armando Riojas, Victor Riojas; daughter, Sandra R. Garcia and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at 8 a.m. with a chapel service at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
