ZAPATA, TEXAS---Rolando A. Villarreal 82, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas.
Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Villarreal; son, Abel Angel Villarreal; parents, Casimiro and Eusebia Villarreal; brothers, Roel Villarreal, Rodolfo "Fito' Villarreal; sisters, Lina Eva Villarreal and Baby Josefina Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his son, Rolando A. Jr. (Veronica) Villarreal; grandchildren, Rene Cervantes, Briana C. Villarreal, Paulo Cervantes, Rolando A. Villarreal III, Samuel E. Villarreal, Veronica Villarreal; brother, Jose H. (Alicia) Villarreal; sister, Dora (Eduardo) Bustamante; sisters-in-law, Margarita Villarreal and Diana Villarreal and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
On Friday, April 14, 2023 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
