FALCON, TEXAS---Roel Gonzalez Jr. 33, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Roel, a devoted father, husband, and cherished member of the Anderson Colombia work family. Roel's vibrant spirit and fun-loving nature left a unique and unforgettable mark on all who knew him. His warm words about everyone reflected his kind heart, and his absence will be keenly felt.
Beyond the workplace, Roel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether at the ranch, surrounded by loved ones, or cheering passionately for the "Cowboys" during football season, he radiated joy. His barbecues were a testament to his love for family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and friendship.

Roel's compassionate nature extended beyond his social circles. As an organ donor, he exemplified his commitment to helping others, leaving a legacy of generosity and selflessness. Roel's presence will be dearly missed, but his impact on the lives he touched will be remembered with love and gratitude.

Roel is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Julian Perez.

Roel is survived by his wife, Ana M. Ramirez; sons, Roel Gonzalez III, Lizandro Ramirez IV, Luis Ramirez, Julian Ramirez, Andres Ramirez; daughters, Aneli (Miguel) Vallejo, Andrea Ramirez; parents, Roel and Rosa Belia Gonzalez; sisters, Itzel (Alberto) Dominguez, Roselyn Gonzalez; paternal grandparents, Enrique and Delia Gonzalez; maternal grandmother, Rosa Zamora and by other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Wednesday, November 22, 2023 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Santa Ana Mission in Falcon, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Falcon Cemetery.
