ZAPATA, TEXAS---Roberto Villarreal, Jr. 55, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his mother, Aminta R. Villarreal; infant brothers, Joel and Roel Villarreal and an infant sister, Maria Teresita Villarreal.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his father, Roberto Villarreal; sister, Joelette Gonzalez (Ovidio Garza, Jr.); niece, Alianna J. Garza and by numerous other family members and friends.

Mr. Villarreal was a ZHS Class of 1985. His favorite past time was ranching and he enjoyed listening to Rock & Rock music.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
