ZAPATA, TEXAS---Roberto "Beto" Mendoza 82, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Mendoza is preceded in death by his parents, Primitivo and Estanislada Mendoza and a brother, Alonzo Mendoza.

Mr. Mendoza is survived by his wife, Oralia G. Mendoza; son, Mario (Vanessa) Mendoza; daughter, Marisol Raymond, Margarita Mendoza (Alejandro Garcia, Jr.); grandchildren, Ashley (J.M.) Berlet; Lauren (Marco) Regalado, Mario Mendoza, II, Mateo Mendoza, Andrew Raymond, Ricardo Davila, Jr., Alejandro Garcia, IV, Roberto N. Garcia; great-grandchildren, Kaden Stephens, Silas Berlet, Rhett Berlet, Ricardo Davila, III; sister, Socorro (Alonzo) Salinas and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
