ZAPATA, TEXAS---Remigio A. Rodriguez 93, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his residence in Chihuahua, Texas.

Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his sons, Alonzo Rodriguez and Arnoldo Rodriguez; grandchildren Tyrus Miller, Izak Miller, Jeremia Williamson; brothers; Jose Merced (Petra) Rodriguez, Ramiro (Hilda) Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez; sisters, Evangelina (Pedro) Sanchez, Amanda (Servando) Gonzalez, Angelina (Octavio) Morales and Emma (Jesus) Salazar.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 74 years, Francisca R. Rodriguez; son, Romeo (Shawna) Rodriguez, daughters, Martha (Alejandro) Estrada, Irene (Mike) King, Angie (Gilbert) Mendez, Silvia Rodriguez; sixteen grandchildren and by numerous great-great-great grandchildren , nephews, nieces and other family members and friend, sister-in-law, Martha Rodriguez.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
