ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Raquel Amelia Lopez, born October 10, 1965, in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed on to her heavenly home on November 16, 2017.

She was the beloved daughter of †Eluterio and Raquel (Puig) Lopez, and sister to Luis Lauro (Patricia) Lopez and Roberto Rene (Lourdes) Lopez.

Raquel loved life, she loved music and dancing, and she was always happy and smiling. She loved to celebrate her birthdays, but did not like to add up the years. She loved to do arts and crafts for special occasions and then would give most of it away. Even though Raquel was in doctors care most of her life, you never heard her complain. Her family including her nephews, nieces, cousins, and other family members will greatly miss her. May God grant her Peace.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 8 a.m. with a rosary at 9 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
