ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ramona "Mona" Herrera Cisneros 72, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Herrera is preceded in death by her parents, Florentino and Francisca Herrera; brothers, Jose Angel (Gregoria) Herrera, Abundio Herrera, Jose Herrera, Manuel Herrera; sisters, Guadalupe Moreno, Josefina Cuellar and Maria Melecia  Herrera.

Ms. Herrera is survived by her son, Jose F. Herrera; granddaughter, Devany Herrera; brothers, Antonio (Sofia) Herrera, Candelario (Estela) Herrera, Julio (†Nicolasa) Herrera, Jose Luis Herrera; sisters, Teresa Herrera, Paula (Ementerio) Puente; brother-in-law, Enrique Cuellar; sister-in-law, Teresa Herrera and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020, at 8 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home we will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. service at Church of Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
