ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ramiro "El Cuate" Resendez 65, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Rio Grande City, Texas.

Mr. Resendez is preceded in death by his parents, Mauro and Irene Resendez.

Mr. Resendez is survived by his daughters, Gladiela (Esequiel) Galvan, Eliamar (Chris), Erika Resendez; brothers, Eliazar (Griselda) Resendez, Abel (Noema) Resendez, Herbey (Estela) Resendez, Mario (Maria) Resendez, Roel (Elda) Resendez; sisters, Idalia Ramirez, Marcela (Donato) Hernandez, Eliamar (Javier) Peña; and by numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.

Visitation hours were held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a rosary at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Panteon Municipal in Mier, Tamaulipas.


Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
