ZAPATA, TEXAS---Petra Alicia Cantu 72, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Cantu is preceded in death by her husband, Baldomero Cantu and parents, Matias Perez and Porfiria Navarro de Perez.

Mrs. Cantu is survived by her son, Baldomero Cantu (Norma Martinez), daughter, Yazmin Cantu; grandchildren, Cynthia Pena, Ana Karen Cantu, Ediel Cantu; great-grandchildren, Lyanna Garcilazo, Jesse Garcilazo; brother, Roberto (Mary) Perez; sister, Angelica Garcia and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Paras, N.L.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
