ZAPATA, TEXAS---Paula Gonzalez 70, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Gonzalez; granddaughter, Alexis Burnham; parents. Francisco and Celestina Guzman and a brother, Jacobo Guzman.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her sons, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Jr., Francisco Gonzalez; daughters, Liliana Gonzalez (Florentino Arambula), Kimberly Gonzalez, (Arthur Melendez); ten grandchildren; brothers, Eduardo Guzman, Francisco Jr. (Marilu) Guzman; sister, Esmeralda (Homero H.) Gonzalez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Martinez Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
