ZAPATA, TEXAS---Pablo "Paulis" Bernal, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas.

Mr. Bernal is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Angel and Maria Paula Bernal; sister, Maria De Los Angeles Bernal.

Mr. Bernal is survived by his wife, Alma R. Bernal; sons, Pablo Bernal, II and Ediel Bernal; grandchildren, Brianna N., Pablo III, Jason A. Bernal; brother, Miguel A. (Maria M.) Bernal; in-laws, David and Maria E. Bautista and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Thursday, December 14, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. On Friday, December 15, 2017 Rose Garden Funeral Home opened at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
