ZAPATA, TEXAS---Oscar Salinas, Jr. 58, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Salinas and a brother, Ramiro Salinas.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Jamie Lee Vaughn; sons, Roland (Patty) Salinas, Oscar Salinas, III, Gabriel Salinas, Leandro Salinas, Luis Salinas; daughters, Rebecca (Samuel) Sosa, Sarah Kalil and Leeann Salinas; grandchildren, Victoria Salinas, Rachel Salinas, Yuliana Salinas, Jaelynn Salinas, Anthony Martinez, Gabriel Salinas, Jr., Isaiah Romero, Alaiah Sosa, Jorge Bravo, Jr., Jacob Ibarra and Khloe Gracia; mother, Gloria Salinas; brother, Roberto Salinas; sisters, Susie Sanchez and Gloria Chavez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
