ZAPATA, TEXAS---Omar Medina 60, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Medina is preceded in death by his parents, Derly and Celia Medina and his in-laws, Baldomero and Hilda Flores.

Mr. Medina is survived by his wife, Mirtha Medina; sons, Derly (Cynthia) Medina, Omar Jr. (Brenda) Medina; grandchildren, Cindrely, Danica, Omar, Damaro, Derly, Carlos Medina; brothers, Jose (Laura) Medina, Ismael (Nydia) Medina and sister, Acerina Medina and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a chapel service at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A Chapel service was held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
