ZAPATA, TEXAS---Oliva T. Gutierrez 93, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

Mrs. Gutierrez is preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Isaura Torres; brother, Azael; husband, Alvaro; son, David and son in law, Jose Luis Garza.

Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her daughters, Elia (†Jose Luis) Garza, Elsa Jones, San Juanita (Charley) Tweedy, Elisa (George) Umphres; sons, Alvaro Gutierrez Jr. and Javier (Rosalva) Gutierrez, and the joy of her life 12 grandchildren and 13  great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gutierrez was an avid reader, loved sewing, quilting and had a passion for music and singing. Special Thanks to all the nursing home staff.

A private viewing and burial was held on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
