ZAPATA, TEXAS---Ofelia Bautista 87, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Bautista is preceded in death by her husband, Amador Bautista; son, Amador (Olga Lydia) Bautista, Jr.; brother, Octavio (Evita) Villarreal and sisters, Julia (Nicanor) Gonzalez and Eufemia Zamora.

Ms. Bautista is survived by her sons, Reynol (Eloisa) Bautista, Martin (Noemi) Bautista, Rolando (Norma) Bautista; daughters, Aurora (Jesus) Garcia, Raquel Bautista, Esmeralda (Javier) Sarmineto, Milagros (Jose) Berrones; nineteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Aurelio Zamora, Refugio (†Margarita) Zamora; sister, Rosa (†Julian) Perez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

We would like to inform the community that due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), County and State mandates we will be having a private viewing for immediate family members only.

A private graveside service will be held at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
