ZAPATA, TEXAS- Norma Andicia Piña 83, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Doctors Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Piña is preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Piña Sr.; parents, Manuel and Cleotilde Saenz; sister Elsa Gutierrez; nephew, Nick Gutierrez Jr

Mrs. Piña is survived by her sons, Guillermo Jr. (Christina) Piña, Rene Piña, Noe (Vanessa) Piña; daughter, Claudia N. (John L.) Chambers; grandchildren, Guillermo III (Laura) Piña, Kayla L. Piña, Noe A. III (Shelby) Piña, Anthony R. Piña, Jose G. Piña, A.J. Piña, Leanza R. Chambers, Cody A. Chambers; great-grandchildren, Noe A. Piña III; sisters, Mardelicia Martinez, †Elsa (Nico) Gutierrez;. and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
