ZAPATA, TEXAS---Noe Lopez Peña 58, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Lopez Peña is preceded in death by his parents, Noe Lopez and Dorina Peña Lopez and a sister, Maria Del Jesus Lopez Peña.

Mr. Lopez Peña is survived by his wife, Omelia Zapata; daughter, Elia (Jesus) Rivera; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Homero (Yolanda) Lopez Peña, Maria Guadalupe (Eduardo) Martinez, Veronica Lopez Peña (Victor Hugo Ledezma), Raul Lopez Peña and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eduardo Martinez, Saul Peña, Alberto Peña, Hugo Garcia, Juan De Dios Garcia, Rene Del Bosque, Jr., Luis Angel Flores and Daniel Flores.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
