ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Myrthalla Hernandez 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Dionicia Salinas.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband of 55 years Pablo Hernandez; son, Pablo R. (Juanita) Hernandez; daughters, Dioni M. Hernandez, Mileth Hernandez (Juan M. Sanchez Jr.); grandchildren, Jorge A. Hernandez (Aime M. Garcia), Priscilla M. Gonzalez, Adriana M. Hernandez, Juan M. Sanchez III, Sergio R. Sanchez, Paul David Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Jorge A. Hernandez Jr., Itzayana Garcia and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, October, 1, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
