ZAPATA, TX---Myrna Joy Manson, age 85, of Zapata, TX, passed away on January 26, 2024. She was born on April 23, 1938, in Litchfield, MN, to the late William and Edith Olson. Myrna was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Olson.

Myrna is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert Manson, and their four sons: Gregory (Sonia), William (Shelly), Bradley (Teressa), and Donald (Debra) Manson, and their families. She was a cherished grandmother to Chris Ouellette, Joseph Manson, Terrance Manson, Nicholas Manson, and Nicole Manson Chin. Myrna was also a great-grandmother to Garen, Carter, Grant, Preston, Riley Manson, Jenna, Lanie, and Paige Ouellette.

Myrna had a passion for sewing, gardening, crocheting, and traveling. She enjoyed creating beautiful garments and spending time reading and arts & crafts. Myrna's crochet skills were admired by all, and she loved exploring new places through her travels.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Myrna for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
