ZAPATA, TEXAS---Mundo Flores 76, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mundo is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Robbye Ivey; parents, Romeo and Beatriz Flores; brothers, Romeo T. Jr. (Gloria) Flores, Homero I. (Elma) Flores and Israel "Chino" Gutierrez.

Mundo is survived by his wife Sylvia D. Flores; sons, Mundo Jr. (Jennifer) Flores, Miguel A. (Carla) Flores, Juan R. (Irene) Guzman; daughters, Julie (Leo) Nava, Lisa Flores, Sylvia A. (Leroy) Ramirez; grandchildren, Nicolas (Karissa) Flores, Christopher Flores, Andrew Flores, Sammy Flores, Miguel A. Flores Jr., Juan R. Guzman Jr., Lucia Inez Guzman, Rhae Lynn Ivey, Emanuel Martinez, Estevan Martinez, Ariah S. Lozano, Ashley N. Ramirez, Andrea M. Castro M. Castro, Evan M. Castro; great-grandchildren, Haven X. Flores, Nora Flores; brothers, Abel Gutierrez, Jose Luis Flores; sisters, Mine Bigler, Sylvia (Joaquin) Solis and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, November 16, 2023 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and a chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
