ZAPATA, TEXAS— Miriam Landa, 59, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Miriam is preceded in death by her father Rogelio Arroyo.

Miriam is survived by her husband Jesus J. Landa; sons, Ezequiel Garcia Jr., Jorge Luis Garcia; daughter, Miriam L. Minor (Jose Ricardo Lara); grandchildren, Ezequiel Garcia III, Emely J. (Jay) Hernandez, Juan D. Hernandez, Hilario Hernandez Jr., Azeneth Hernandez; great grandchildren, Jaylee Hernandez, Jayla Hernandez; mother, Rebecca Arroyo; brothers, Rogelio Arroyo Jr., Javier Arroyo, Santos Arroyo, Pedro Arroyo (Elberta Gonzalez), Jose Luis (Alma) Arroyo, David (Connie) Arroyo; sisters, Irma (Gilberto) Sanchez, Veronica (Anthony) Salazar, Laura Lee (Oscar) Sanchez Jr. , Rebecca (Pedro) Sales and by numerous family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a wake at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Friday, February 28, 2025, we will open at 8 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
