SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Minerva H. Solis 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Solis is preceded in death by her husband, Cosme Solis; son, Isaac Solis; parents, Julian and Aurora Hernandez; brother, Julian Hernandez, Jr.; sisters, Aurora Martinez, Raquel Solis, Sofia Galindo and a daughter-in-law, Mirtha A. Solis.

Ms. Solis is survived by her sons, Enrique Solis, Luis (Diana) Solis, Fabian (Chayo) Solis, Julian (Tammy) Solis; daughter, Cecilia Solis (Mario Garza), Gladys (Raul) Herrera; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren; brothers, Mario Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez; sisters, Rosa Rodriguez, Janie Urabazo, Bertha Galindo, Margarita Perez, Noemi Hernandez and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in San Ygnacio, TX.

Committal services followed at Uribe Cemetery in San Ygnacio, TX.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
