ZAPATA, TEXAS---Minerva Medeles Hernandez 81, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Medeles Hernandez is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Garcia; daughter, Criselda Garcia, Guadalupe Garcia de Chapa, Maricela Garcia; grandson, Esteban R. Chapa, Jr. and brother, Eulogio Medeles Hernandez.

Mrs. Medeles Hernandez is survived by her son Vidal Garcia; daughter, Martha Alicia Garcia; grandchildren, Daniel Moreno, Jr., Orlando Moreno, Martha Gpe Moreno, Minerva Gpe Chapa, Elias Cuellar, Jr., Eduardo Cuellar, Yuneisy Cuellar; sister, Genoveva Medeles; son-in-law, Esteban R. Chapa and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
