ZAPATA, TEXAS---Mildred L. Rich 88, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Retama Manor Laredo West in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Rich is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth A. Rich.

Mrs. Rich survived by her husband of 68 years William R. Rich, son William Randall (Sylvia) Rich, daughters Janice Rich, Darla Denise (Matthew) McNew, grandchildren Stephanie Essary, Michelle Hershberger, Regina (Lynelle) Martinez, Jennie (Dustin) Williams, Carissa (Chris) Montemayor, Kristopher Essary, Kristy Mooney, Kenneth D. Rich, Richard Vela, Katie Vela, and Austin Rich, numerous great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation hours were held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A chapel service was held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
