SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Miguel Roberto Treviño 79, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Treviño is preceded in death by his wife, Josefina N. Treviño; parents, Miguel and Lucila Treviño; brothers, Adolfo A. Treviño, Abelardo A. Treviño, Oscar Treviño and a sister, Maria Del Jesus Treviño.

Mr. Treviño is survived by his daughter, Vilma T. (Armando, Sr.) Esquivel; grandchildren, Valerie (Derly, Jr.) Thatcher, Vanessa Esquivel (Joe M. Garza), Armando (Carolina) Esquivel, Jr., Clarissa Esquivel; great-grandchildren, †Kimberly Faith Thatcher, Jennifer Aylin, Armando F., Aziel J. Esquivel; sister, San Juana (Reynaldo) Ramirez from San Benito, Texas and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, January 23, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. church service at Christian Union Church in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Committal services followed at Panteon Del Pueblo in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
