FALCON, TEXAS---In the gentle embrace of eternity, we celebrate the remarkable life of Melva Neira Briseño, born on October 27, and departed from this world on October 6, 2023, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength will forever resonate in our hearts.

Melva loved spending time with her grandkids and working outside in her garden. Her love for her garden brought joy not only to her but to all who had the privilege of sharing in her passions. Alongside her beloved husband, Jesus Garcia, they dedicated much of their time to their trucking business, traveling to various parts of the country.

Melva was the heart of her family. She was a devoted mother to 5 Melva (Rafael) Espinoza, Diana (Oron) Boone, Abel (Melissa) Guerra, Annabel (Joey) Esparza, and Oscar (Jennifer) Guerra, a cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Cassandra (Ricardo), Anthony, Roy, Jake (Cinthia), Raquel, Andrew, Corgan, David, Matthew, Joaquinn and Joseph; and a great-grandmother to 2 granddaughters, Adelynn and Amelia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Felipa Briseño, her siblings Maria Del Carmen Salinas, Francisco Salinas, Flora Gonzalez, Jesus Neira, Alma Vela, and her niece Irasema Cuellar.

As we honor Melva's life, may we find solace in the love we shared and the memories we created together. In her memory, let us continue to spread the kindness and warmth that she so effortlessly radiated.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with a chapel service at Rose Garden Funeral Home.  Committal services will follow at Falcon Cemetery.
