ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maurilio Sanchez 84, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his wife, Elida Valadez-Sanchez and daughter, Baby, Margarita Sanchez Valadez.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his sons, Mateo Sanchez, Maurilio Sanchez, Jr., Manuel Sanchez, Jose (Marisol) Sanchez; daughters, Martha (Antonio) Palomo, Milagros Sanchez; grandchildren, Maria Mireida, Adriana, Mateo Jr., Maurilio III, Clarissa, Adamari, Eddie, Eduardo, Uriel, Manuel, Allen, Marisol, Jose Jr., Arturo, Antonio, Virginia, Eduardo Palomo, Estefania, Jennifer, Marcos Lee Maldonado; brother, Leonel Sanchez; sister, Oralia Martinez and by numerous great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

On Saturday, May 21, 2022 we will open at 8 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
