ZAPATA, TEXAS---Mary P. Villagomez 90, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Villagomez is preceded in death by her son, Jesse L. Perez; brothers, Daniel Aguirre, Joseph Aguirre; sisters, Louisa Garcia, Consuelo Sandoval and Martha Guerrero.

Mrs. Villagomez is survived by her husband, Fernando Villagomez; sons, Joseph (Lee) Perez, Steven (Cathy) Perez, Ralph (Marilyn) Perez, Richard Perez (Julie Mcquade), Eugene Perez (Griselda); daughters, Christina (Terry) Cunningham, Maria (†Joe) LaRosch and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brother, Jesse Aguirre and a sister, Esther "Chata" Medel and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
